New Course Arranged

Apologies for not getting on here more. I have been getting together some new courses for the photographic industry. A big Marketing Course called The Business of Photography, some smaller courses for beginners in January called New Camera for Christmas and some 1-2-3 evening sessions at my own office on Workflow, Photoshop, and various other bits and pieces. Tiffany and Daniel Wedding 19th November Warbrook House

What a day, the weather was great, Tiffany looked stunning and Daniel and his ushers were very smart in their uniforms. The wedding was at the beautiful Silchester Church, and then onto the amazing Warbrook House. The family and friends all made this a wonderful day for Tiffany and Daniel, we even stopped off at the Duke of Wellington Statue for a couple of pictures. The evening session was great, lots of dancing and a hog roast at 1030 pm, just to round the evening off.......

Wow what a day

Hi folks, started the day at 1000 with Tom and Yvonne Brook working with them on their wedding album. I do like to get my clients involved on this as its a very big part of the final wedding products. Then kitted to with two HD video cameras, and more kit than I care to mention it was off to the Berkshire Golf Club to shoot a Custom Club Fitting Session for promotion. Back from that and its into images editing for facebook and the blog (tomorrow), then download the video from both cameras and start a basic two camera edit...its now 1010 pm and I am pretty tired........

Abi & Brian Save The Date Shoot Saturday 12th November

I met Abi and Brian at the amazing Oakley Court Hotel near Windsor. The hotel is famous for so many films, the early St Trinians, Hammer House of Horror, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and many more. Brian And Abi are getting married next August at the venue, and wanted to send people "Save the Date Cards" with a difference, so I suggested a shoot and use one of the images from that......we had a great time, Abi looked great, Brian was up for his posing, and its a great way of getting to know the couple and the various places we can take pictures on their big day (I have shot many weddings there anyway)...It also gave us time to sit down and talk about their big day wedding photography package over a cup of coffee....

Sandra & Rob Wedding at Warbrook House Sunday 30th October

Congratulations to Rob and Sandra, it was a great day, and a good time was had by all. Robin and his team at Warbrook created the perfect atmosphere for the day...Sandra had the most amazing wedding dress which fitted like a glove, Rob looked good in grey, Joanna the bridesmaid was a bundle of fun all day, and it was a real pleasure to meet Eric the Father of the lovely bride....they were all real fun to be with........

BIPP Midlands Meeting

Hi, just want to say a big thank you to all the photographers that turned up last night at the Lea Marston Hotel. I had a great night (I get very animated).....and I hope you all took something away with you. Special thanks to Toni and Malcolm for arranging the evening and booking me to come along.......Hope to speak to yo all soon...

I did it at Last

Well for all you golfers out there I finally managed to make my fist Hole-in-one today at our 4th hole.....Would you believe the only people in the clubhouse were the group I was playing with, so it cost me very little....

Oakley Court

Oakley Court Today

Will be at Oakley Court Hotel Wedding fair today. Its always a great day, great people, great venue, and I think the sun is going to be shining, which means some of the future grooms will be on the golf course or playing football.......

Frimley Hall Hotel Wedding Fair 25th September 2011

Had a great day at Frimley Hall Hotel Wedding Fair yesterday. met some really nice people including David and Andrea who run the Disco at the Hotel, I photographed their wedding 9 years ago.....it was great to see them again, they even brought their album with them.....lots of great memories...

Sandra & Rob Pre Wedding Shoot

Met with Sandra and Rob at the weekend at the amazing Warbrook House in Eversley. they are getting married on the 30th October and wanted a guest book from me so that all the guests can see some images and also sign the book on the big day. This is a really great part of the wedding that they can keep for many years to come. Looking forward to photographing the day...

Want to model?

I am setting aside sometime to add to my new portfolio, and would like to photograph non-professional models. I have spent many years with professional models and love them dearly, but I would like to work with non-professionals for a few reasons. I want to see if I can turn some of them into professional models, and I would also like a clean fresh approach. I have put some images below for you to look at, if you would like to take this further please drop me a line...oh and if you are under 18 please get Mum or Dad to call me first please, if you are over 18 just email me. I am also looking for models from about 35 years old onwards for a couple of projects, so just send me an email....

Taylor........what a model

Worked with Taylor on Wednesday this week and did some experimental shots with make-up, ringflash and general location lighting. She is a great model and has a fantastic future if she keeps it up.......will be working with her a lot more...

Holiday

Arron and Lindsey's Wedding 16th August 2011 Ufton Court

Well what a day, the sun was shining, the bride looked like a goddess. the bridesmaids were stunning, and the groom scrubbed up pretty well....The reception was at Ufton Court in Berkshire, fantastic place with a great tithe barn and wonderful grounds. The main pictures will be online very soon, so keep an eye on the website....

Good luck to Daniel and Paul who jetted off to Indonesia for 7 weeks today.........

1st September

Looking forward to the 1st September, big news going to be released, but cant say too much at the moment....if you are a photographer you will be very pleased about the release, and if you are a client that purchased the Hi-Res disk from me you will be even more happy.....wish I could say something......

Andrew & Karina 6th August 2011 The Dairy Waddesdon Manor

What a day, we had rain, sun and wind, but a great group of people. The wedding was outside the Dairy main building on the lake. This was great for images as they could contain the building, the couple, the lake and all that rain.......Myself an Anna had a great day....

Last series of workshops

Back in May/June I did a series of workshops along with Kevin Wilson. This was called the "Be Inspired" tour and was sponsored by G F Smith. We had a great time, it also told me I needed to lose a few pounds. We traveled the country, from Maidstone in Kent to Glasgow, met some great people, took some great shots, and worked with two great models, Holly and Yvonne. There are a few images below of the practical workshops.

Workshops September 2011

Working on a series of workshops on the 13th & 20th September at the Flash Centre, Birmingham. These will be on location lighting, along with "Urban Style" street photography. You will learn how to market your shoots, how to present to clients, how to use location lighting, post producing your images and  a great deal more. Graham & Francesca wedding 5th August Beaumont House

Wow what a day, it was hot, bright and the bride looked amazing. The dress the bride wore reminded me of classic 1930's Dior, it was pure style.....We had a great day at the wedding, with bridesmaids Kate and Hayley who did a very good job throughout the day. The venue, as usual looked amazing, and as for Uncle Tony our driver, well what can I say, what a guy, great sense of humor, which was everyone else as well. The group of teachers from Meadow Vale School looked stunning, and I am sure they had a great evening. Many congratulations to the bride and groom.........we love you both....
